Why do I need an Account?
An Account may be required for certain Platform features, bookings, saved information or supplier functionality. You may be able to browse without registering.
What am I responsible for?
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure.
Can I create an Account for someone else?
Only where you have the necessary authority. The person making a group Booking is responsible for ensuring other Travellers know the applicable terms and, where appropriate, for obtaining authority to provide their information.
Password & access
What should I do if I forget my password?
Use the password-reset or account-recovery functionality made available by TryBookAfrica. If you cannot regain access, contact the official support channel.
What if I suspect unauthorised access?
Contact TryBookAfrica promptly through an official support channel, change your password where possible and review recent account activity.
Should I share my password with support staff?
No. Do not disclose your password, PIN, one-time authentication code or other security credentials.
Safe use & fraud
What conduct is prohibited?
Users must not make fake, speculative, duplicate, fraudulent or abusive Bookings; misuse promotional pricing; circumvent platform controls; impersonate another person; or interfere with the Platform.
What should I do about a suspicious message?
Do not click suspicious links or provide security credentials. Contact TryBookAfrica through an independently verified official channel.
Can the Platform experience outages?
Digital services can experience interruptions, maintenance, outages or security incidents. The Terms address Platform availability, outages and cybersecurity.
Why might TryBookAfrica verify users or Suppliers?
Verification and fraud-prevention measures may be used to protect the Platform, users and transactions and to support legal or regulatory compliance.
