Acceptable Use Policy

1. PURPOSE

This Policy protects the integrity and security of the TryBookAfrica marketplace.

2. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

Users must not:

• create fraudulent accounts;

• impersonate others;

• submit false identity information;

• make fraudulent Bookings;

• use stolen payment credentials;

• manipulate reviews;

• manipulate availability;

• upload malware;

• attempt unauthorised access;

• scrape Platform data without permission;

• use automated bots to overload the Platform;

• reverse engineer protected systems;

• circumvent security controls;

• harvest Traveller information;

• send spam;

• publish illegal content;

• publish discriminatory or hateful material;

• facilitate trafficking;

• promote illegal wildlife activities;

• advertise unlawful services;

• distribute sexually exploitative material;

• upload content that infringes copyright; or

• interfere with Platform operations.

3. SCRAPING AND DATA EXTRACTION

Unauthorised automated extraction, copying, harvesting or systematic collection of TryBookAfrica data is prohibited.

This does not prevent lawful use of publicly available information in circumstances permitted by law.

4. ACCOUNT SECURITY

Users must keep account credentials confidential.

Users must immediately report suspected compromise.

5. ENFORCEMENT

TryBookAfrica may:

• remove content;

• suspend accounts;

• cancel fraudulent Bookings;

• suspend Suppliers;

• remove listings;

• restrict access;

• preserve evidence; and

• report suspected unlawful activity to appropriate authorities.
